Jose Y. Gonsalez was a dedicated father who devoted his life to his daughters. He chose to never re-marry because his girls were his priority. He retired after 38 years at Phelps Dodge Copper Refinery. Jose was an artist at heart. He loved to craft images out of aluminum cans; he sketched Indian heads and desert scenes; and he loved to play guitar. He was a simple man who enjoyed watching cartoons & wrestling, eating sweets, and drinking his Coors Lite. He leaves behind four daughters who adored him; Delfina Dominguez (Andy), Grace Phelps (Damon), Rebecca Silva (Michael), and Terry LaFrance (Steven); 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. His family is grateful to God that he gave Jose 88 years of precious life. We will celebrate at Mt Carmel Funeral Home 1755 N. Zaragosa on Saturday the 31st of May at 1pm.
