Manuel "Manny" Bustamante 78 years old went home to be with our Lord on April 20, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Manuela Bustamante and daughter Corina Bustamante. Left to bear his memory is beloved wife of 54 years Julie C. Bustamante, daughter; Cynthia Sanchez (Armando), grandson; Anthony D. Pedregon, granddaughter; Alyssa R. Pedregon and great-grandson; Andru Nathan Arraiza-Pedregon. He is also survived by his sisters; Esperanza Triviz (Rudy), Lorenza Telles (Art) and many nieces and nephews. Manny was as avid hunter, fisherman, and a devout Dallas Cowboy fan. He loved the outdoors. His hobbies also included dabbling with woodwork, restoring antiques and taxidermy. Manny was a good husband, loving father, a caring grandfather and great-grandfather. He will truly be missed. The family wishes to thank Encompass Home Health, Dr. E. Cora-Soto and Dr. R. Moreno for the loving care that you provided. Dad, words cannot express the void you leave in my heart. However we have comfort knowing that you are with Corie. We know how much you missed her. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 8700 Dyer.
