Manuel Carreon, 89, known to his friends as "El Ciego", proud member of Plumber and Pipefitters Local 231 for 44 years and Local 412 Albuquerque, N.M. 8 years, passed peacefully February 24, 2013. He was born in Chihuahua, MX. December 21, 1923 to Jose and Josefina Carreon and stepmother Aurelia Carreon, siblings, Miguel Angel, Salvador and Martha, who preceded him in death. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Emma Carreon. He was blessed with six children, Jose Fernando, Emma Y. Briones, Manuel (Rosemarie), Maria De Lourdes "Lulu" Aguiñaga (+ Rudy), partner Beto Aguilar, Juan R. "Bobby" Carreon, and Dolores Gutierrez (Johnny); 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and siblings, Rosalio, Josefina Rodriguez, Concepcion and Carlos. Visitation March 1st, 10am-12noon, rosary 11am at San Jose Funeral Home-East (915)590-8700. Mass, March 1st, 1pm at Santo Niño De Atocha Catholic Church, interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
