Norma Aaronson

Norma Brody Aaronson passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on May 23, 2010. She was preceded in death by husband Meyer, parents Sarah and Louis Brody, and two sisters, Ida Victorson and Jean Feinberg. She is survived by sister Dorothy Kovan, children Michael (Suzi), Beth (David), Jeffrey (friend Laura), and six grandchildren, Dustin, Derek, Shelley, Zachary, Seth and Jordan and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. The most important thing in Norma's life was her family and friends, whom she showered with love, kindness and advice. Her devotion to her family was fierce as it was loving. She was a beautiful and elegant woman who was truly ahead of her time. Her keen insight was a magnet to a diverse group of friends. In her later years when it became difficult for Norma to go outside doing the things she loved, the outside came to Norma. She faced death the same way she faced life, with strength, courage, humor and dignity. A private graveside service will be held for family. Memorial Service for all who wish to attend will be held at her home on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 5:00 PM followed by a service at 6:30 PM. Donations may be made to CIMA Hospice, 6090 Surety Dr., Suite 102, El Paso, TX 79905. Service entrusted by Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N. Resler Dr., EL Paso, TX 79912.
