B. Paul Brock passed away Thursday, October 10, at age 84, born in El Paso on May 16, 1929, graduated from Cathedral High School and attended St. Edward's University where he obtained his Bachelors in Commerce (1950). He was an Army Veteran and a retiree (1982) from El Paso Natural Gas. During his career, he had the opportunity to live in Salt Lake City and Farmington, N.M. where he perfected his accounting skills. After retirement he returned to El Paso. He founded Westside Handyman along with Brock Flock's selling chicken eggs to Westsiders. He was always very active in various organizations including El Paso Border Chorders(21 yrs), Knights of Columbus (36 yrs), and International Arabian Horse Assn. He is survived by his sister-in-law Mary Stone Brock, nephew Patrick Stone Brock (Carol), niece Anne Brock Kocian (John) and his great nieces, Katherine Marie Kocian and Kimberly Anne Kocian. A celebration of his life will be held at Martin Funeral Home West with public visitation on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 5 to 9PM with a Rosary at 7PM. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew's Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at noon, followed by burial at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 1:30PM.
