Reyes Vasquez born January 6, 1929 passed on to eternal rest on December 4, 2013 to be reunited with his wife Consuelo and daughter Norma, who both preceded him. He is survived by his daughters, Dora Rodriguez (Manny), Angie Luevano (James), Clarissa Femat (Tury) and grandchildren Amber, Benjamin, Andrea, David, Desiree, Dana and Derek. Also survived by brother, sisters and extended family members.. Pallbearers will be James Luevano, Manny Rodriguez, Tury Femat, Abraham Garcia, Benjamin Alvarez, Derek Femat and Eddie Lerma Reyes served in the US Army in the Korean War and was awarded the Korean Service metal with 2 bronze service stars. He was honorably discharged in 1952. Upon his return home, he married his beautiful sweetheart, Consuelo Camarillo. He worked for Civil Service and retired in 1987.He was a member of the Catholic Church. He brought a lot of laughter, caring and unconditional love to his family and friends. His interests were golfing, taking long walks on Edgemere, football, baseball, basketball and boxing. Visitation will be held Monday, December 9, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. with the Vigil at 7:00 P.M. Mass will be Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 1:15 P.M. at St. Raphael Catholic Church. Interment at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Thank you Dad and Deedee for all the beautiful memories we had with you.
