Rollin H. Wickenden, 65, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at home surrounded by his wife and two daughters. He leaves his wife of 33 years, Esther (Jauregui) Wickenden; his daughter, Katharine E. Tate (Adam D. Tate); his daughter Susan A. Wickenden; his sister Susan Hunter; and his brothers RichardWickenden (Phyllis Troia) and Martin Wickenden (Jean Wickenden). Born and raised in Massachusetts, the son of Richard and Katharine Wickenden, he was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas. After graduating from Tabor Academy, he lived and attended college in England for oneyear. He attended Union College, graduating in 1969 with a bachelor's degree in History. He served with the Peace Corps in Guatemala and continued to travel the world with his family and friends. He worked with Social Security Administration and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, retiring from the U. S. Federal Government after more than 30 years of service. Mr. Wickenden lived his life to explore. He enjoyed traveling, backpacking, hiking, and camping. He was a long time member of the Sierra Club. His sense of adventure was never ending. He was an amazing son, brother, husband, father, and friend. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Crestview Funeral Home. A viewing will be held at 5pm and a memorial ceremony will begin at 7pm, with private burial. Directed by CRESTVIEW FUNERAL HOME.
