AUDREY WHITMANMONAHAN

Audrey Whitman-Monahan, age 51, of Georgetown, Texas, formerly of El Paso, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Audrey was born on March 20, 1962 at Seymore Johnson AFB in North Carolina to parents, Johnnie and Betty (Caulder) Whitman. As one of nine children raised in the Whitman Household, she enjoyed growing up in a large family and cherished the wonderful memories she made with her sisters and brothers. Audrey started her career in Real Estate and later managed apartment complexes. When medical issues made it difficult for Audrey to continue that work, she began taking classes for medical coding and transcription. In her spare time she enjoyed crafting, especially painting ceramics. She also loved animals and was very fond of her cat, Tigger. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Betty Whitman; and her brother, Johnnie B. Whitman, Jr. To cherish her memory, Audrey leaves behind her daughter, Tiffany Carnett and husband Joshua of Cedar Park, Texas; grandchildren: Claire and Carson Carnett of Cedar Park, Texas; sisters: Sheila Whitman Ewers of Seven Springs, North Carolina, Stella Whitman of El Paso, Texas, Tina Whitman of Clinton, North Carolina, Felecia Whitman Johnson of Lebanon, Ohio, Rose Braido of Lebanon, Ohio and Phyllis Chavez of Lebanon, Ohio; brother, Jason Whitman of El Paso, Texas; 16 nieces and nephews; and 13 great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Remembrance Gardens at Riverbend. 4214 Capital of Texas Highway North, Austin, Texas 78746.
