Caesar Asmis, beloved brother, son, father, and husband was called to heaven on October 15, 2013. He was born in El Paso, Texas on February 19, 1960 and was a resident there for most of his life, moving to Fresno County in 2004. He was employed at Greyhound for over 15 years, worked for several radio stations in both El Paso and Fresno, and temporarily worked for the US Postal Service. Caesar's main passion was his family. He was a devoted father and husband. He spent any and every spare moment with his children whether it was brushing up on basketball skills, playing video games, or watching the Dallas Cowboys and LA Lakers. He is preceded in death by his mother, Paulina Asmis. He is survived by his wife Mireya Asmis, his two children Natalie and Caesar Jr., his father, Bertram Asmis of El Paso, siblings Bert Asmis, Jr. of San Antonio, and Jessica Carvajal (William) of El Paso, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles in Fresno County and Washington. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Yost & Webb Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00-8:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at The Shrine of St. Therese, 1444 N. Wishon Ave. Fresno, CA 93728. Interment to follow at St. Peter?s Catholic Cemetery.
