Obituary Condolences

Concepcion "Connie" Saldivar, 80, wonderful wife, mother, sister, mother-in-law, grandmother and friend. Concepcion went on to be with our Lord on January 21, 2014. She was a life-long resident of El Paso and graduated from St. Joseph's Academy High School. She volunteered at the YMCA as a Squeaky Joints instructor. She was employed by the El Paso Police Department for ten years. She was preceded in death by her parents Juan and Fermina Camarillo and her loving husband of 48 years, Carlos "Cali" Saldivar. Her brothers and sisters: Tony Camarillo, Dolores Hernandez, Juan Camarillo, Jesus Camarillo and Consuelo Vasquez. She is survived by her son Carlos A. Saldivar and daughter-in-law Shirley M, Saldivar, and her loving grand-daughters Victoria Annette and Karla Alexis Saldivar. Her beloved brothers and sisters: Manuel Camarillo, Carmen Vasquez, Maria Luisa Valles, Gonzalo Camarillo and many nephews and nieces. She will have visitation on Monday, January 27, 2014 at San Jose Funeral Home from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. The rosary will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, January28, 2014 at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Gonzalo Camarillo, Carlos Saldivar, Robert Torrez, Gilbert Valles, Johnny Camarillo, Leonel Alvarado, Antonio Ruiz and Chad Friedrichsen. Honorary pallbearers Enrique Martinez, Carol Martinez, Eliodoro Martinez and Robert C. Torrez. Services directed by San Jose Funeral Home Central, 601 S. Virginia St., (915)532-1856.
