George Gomez, Sr., 65, of Sunland Park, NM, passed away on January 8, 2013. George was a 1966 graduate of Gadsden High School. He was married to his high school sweetheart Grace for 43 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked at Hortex Mfg., JC Penney, and the Gadsden Independent School District. George was preceded into God's kingdom by his mother Luz Gomez. George is survived by his loving wife Grace: Children George Gomez Jr. and Yvonne Irigoyen.
