Jose Noel Ordoñez, 47, lifelong resident and beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away Friday, December 27, 2013. For three years he bravely battled Lou Gehrig's disease, also known as ALS. Noel is survived by his parents, Raul and Elvira Ordoñez; daughters, Dominique and Anali Ordoñez; brothers, Raul (Norma), Jaime (Yvette), Adrian, and sister, Amada Hernandez. Beloved uncle to Sean, Diego, Samantha, Mateo, Sebastian, Olivia and Alejandro. Noel graduated from Bel Air High, the University of Texas at El Paso, and retired as a Special Agent with Homeland Security Investigations in February 2011. His greatest love were his daughters, family, friends and his job. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at San Jose Funeral Home-East. Recitation of the rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church at 8011 Williamette Avenue. Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memorial Pines Cemetery. The Family would like to extend special gratitude to his caregiver, Maria Carrillo and devoted friends Sergio and Irene Gonzalez. Funeral services arranged by San Jose Funeral Home (915) 590-8700.
