Patricia (Pat) Ann Alston, loving daughter, mother, and grandmother, passed away on November 5, 2013 at the age of 69. She was born in Hot Spring, South Dakota and made El Paso her home for the past 41 years. Pat was a Certified Public Accountant with Clifford, Ross, Raudenbush & Cooper, LLC. Pat was an avid Miner fan, loved to read, travel and spend time with her children and grandchildren of whom she was very proud. She is preceded in death by her husband James Alston, her first husband Jerry D. Taber, her father Earnest Jeppeson Sr., her brother Ernest Jeppeson Jr., and nephew Steven Jeppeson. She is survived by her mother Margaret Jeppeson, son: Jamie Taber; daughter: Lori (Missy) Macias (Rick Macias); grandchildren: Richard James (RJ) Macias, Victoria (Tori) Macias, and Marcus Macias. In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project which was a passion of hers and her late husband. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina. Graveside Services will be on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services under the direction of HILLCREST FUNERAL HOME 1060 Carolina 592-3332.
