Penelope Cochran, beloved mother and grandmother, and long time resident of El Paso, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2013, in Henderson, Nevada. Penny was born in England on November 13, 1922. She grew up in London, England, where she met her husband, Raymond Cochran, during World War II. Raymond predeceased Penny. She is survived by her four children, Clive, Robin, Chris and Kevin, her beloved daughter-in-law Jennifer Cochran, stepson John Cochran, her four grandchildren Alex, Noelle, Robert, and Molly, great granddaughter Riley, and a special friend, Judy Moreland. Penny was a proud member of the Military Order of the World Wars. Penny called El Paso home; she lived here for 55 years. She was a paralegal and office manager for the law firm of Grambling, Mounce from 1968 until her retirement in 1992. Penny was known by her English family as Ivy. She traveled extensively with her American and English families throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Services will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 2:00 pm on January 3, 2013.
