Mr. Kasem,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Armed Forces and also for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I never knew Fez and never spoke to the man; however, I'm very well aware of his journeys playing pool.
I would have loved to meet him and hear his stories.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to his family. I consider myself extremely blessed to have had Fez as a friend, and as a mentor - not just with pool, but also with business, and life in general. He was a good man with a great love and a zest for life. Over the years, I traveled with him many times from El Paso to Albuquerque. He not only shared stories, he shared his heart, and that is what I will miss most about him. Godspeed, my friend.
