Obituary Condolences

Beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, Raul Ibarra, 77, of El Paso, TX was born on May 6, 1935 in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico went home to our Lord Jesus Christ on January 19, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents Aurora and Raul Roman Ibarra, sister Irma Fernandez and brother Eduardo Ibarra. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Elena Ibarra. 4 Children, Sylvia Meek (Dale), Vicky Sanchez (Mike), Raul E. Ibarra (Mary), Jaime Ibarra (Sylvia); 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Salvador Munoz and sisters, Olivia Ortiz and Isela Rivera. He met his loving wife at age 16, they dated for 2 years 7 months and on January 28th they would have celebrated 59 years of marriage. He was a great provider and a very hard worker. He retired after 28 years with only missing 1 day as a truck driver delivering and carrying stacks of beef up to 300 lbs 5 days a week. He never complained about his work and how hard it was. He along with his wife gave the family a great foundation of what being a great loving family meant. Everyone was always welcomed and fed. He will be greatly missed may he rest in peace. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina. Vigil Service at 7:00 pm on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 am on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services under the direction of Hillcrest Funeral Home. 1060 Carolina Dr. 598-3332
