Robert Charles Adams, 71 passed away on February 14, 2013 in El Paso, Texas. Bob was born in Chicago, Illinois where he was active in various law enforcement organizations including the NATO Physical Security Supervisors School as well as the National Institute of Corrections. In the early seventies, he moved to Northern California and was active not only in law enforcement but was also active in local politics. He served on the Santa Rosa County Board of Supervisors, Golden Gate Bridge District Board of Directors, Bay Area Conservation and Development Commission and Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce. He married Clara Duncan in 1990 and moved to El Paso where he owned and operated successful businesses. He is survived by his loving wife, Clara Duncan-Adams of Santa Teresa, New Mexico, his brother Ronald Adams (Darlene), sister Patricia Troy, son Michael Adams, grandchildren Brice and Alyssa Adams, all from Santa Rosa, California, as well as his daughter Susan Spoon and grandson Christopher Spoon of Charleston, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Adams and Thelma Adams Fernandes and his son, Larry Creasy from Charleston, South Carolina.
