Obituary Condolences

Roselve E. Palafox, born January 21, 1949, passed away peacefully in her home September 24, 2013. She was preceded in death by her father, Emilio Palafox. She is survived by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Palafox, and her siblings, Liz (Dick) Snow; Emile Palafox; Ingrid (Richard) Moreno; Marguerite (Manny) Rodriguez; and her 7 nieces and nephews. She graduated from Bel Air in 1967, and shortly thereafter began working for Southwestern Bell, where she worked until retirement in 2003. She adored all her family?s pets, and every year she excitedly lavished all of them with Christmas presents! She lived her life as a giver, and had a very hard time taking anything from anyone. Her joy was in giving, and she gave generously. In everything, she always gave 150%. She loved her praise and worship music. She was also one to always notice the ?little things,? and she had an impeccable eye for detail, and it was those details in an item that would endear her to it. She liked things that came in miniature size. Roselve had lots of personality! She was bold, bright, caring, and always carried herself with confidence. Even in her final months, with her health failing, her glow and constant smile would light up a room. Most importantly, she had unwavering faith in God, which carried her through her final days. She was greatly loved, and her passing leaves a hole in each of us, a hole that will remain until we meet again. Visitation will be Sunday, September 29, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Prayer Service at 6 p.m. Graveside Service will be Monday, September 30, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at Evergreen East Cemetery. Services under the direction of HILLCREST FUNERAL HOME 1060 Carolina Drive 598-3332
