Terezo (Teddy) Gardea Jr. 57, lifelong resident of Tornillo passed away on February 4, 2013. Love of family was most important to Teddy. His generous heart and gentle nature endeared him to everyone. He was the rock that held us steady during difficult times and the one to count on for a helping hand. His relationships with his sons, grandchildren, nieces and nephews were especially strong and absolute. He was our Teddy Bear because he never forgot the importance of love, loyalty and companionship. Teddy was known for his strong work ethic, good humor and perseverance. His legacy of love and devotion lives in our hearts now and forever. Although there is sadness we cannot begin to comprehend, we are comforted by knowing he lives eternally with God. Survivors include his wife Ofelia; sons Ricky and Randy; grandchildren Nyissa, Matthew and Eric; parents Terezo (Ted) and Celia Gardea and sisters, Loretta Aguilar, Corina, Connie and Irene Gardea.
