THADDEUS ELVERTON AYLSWORTH October 12, 1921 - November 7, 2012 Thad E. Aylsworth passed away at his home on November 7, 2012. Thad was born in El Paso, Texas and graduated from Austin High School. He then joined the United States Navy. He served on the USS Tennessee at Pearl Harbor. He later served in the Korean War. He served twenty-one years of active duty in the Navy and nine years in the Navy Reserve. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. After retiring he worked as a Realtor and Parts Manager for Sears. Thad's passion was collecting and repairing antique clocks. Thad is survived by his wife Soledad, one brother Charlie Aylsworth, one sister Shirley Cline, three children-Les Aylsworth, Linda Johnson, and Lynette Aylsworth, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday November 11, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Crestview Funeral Home Chapel with Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Graveside Service will be held on Monday November 12, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
