Malcolm Ward, passed away at the Santa Fe Care Center, Sunday, October 24, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Robert Ward and Alexine Fourcade, on October 6, 1910, he was 100 years old. Malcolm received degrees in science from St. Mary's University in Texas, Manhattan College in New York, and New Mexico Highlands University. He taught for 55 years with the Christian Brothers at St. Paul in Covington, Louisiana, College of Santa Fe, St. Michael's High School, and Cathedral High School In El Paso, Texas. He was also a member of the College of Santa Fe Alumni and Friends of the Library. He is survived by his wife Mary, brothers; John Ward of Danville, Virginia and Brother Thomas Ward FSC of New Orleans, Louisiana; sister-in-law: Joanne (John) Rink of Rio Rancho; and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 6:00 p.m., at Berardinelli Family Chapel, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., at Cristo Rey Church, followed by Interment at Santa Fe Memorial Gardens.
