Francisco Acosta, Sr., born April 2, 1924 in El Paso, TX passed away, Sunday, June 16, 2013, He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran earning 2 battle stars while serving with Admiral Halsey's Task Force. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Olga L. Acosta, and daughter, Norma. He is survived by his children: Irma Chavira (Jesus) Frank, Jr. (Viola), Ramon, Javier, Adelina, Ceasar and Michael Acosta. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Special thanks to Nazareth Living Center. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the praying of the Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Central. Funeral Mass will be on June 24, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Light Church, 4600 Delta. Interment follows at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Services arranged by Martin Funeral Home, 3839 Montana Ave. 915-566-3955.
