Obituary Condolences

SFC Homer Roy Wren Jr., U.S. Army (Ret), passed away unexpectedly on 18 February 2014. Son of Homer Roy Wren Sr. and Claire Maxine (John) Luoma; his brothers, William, James, and Charles. Survived by his sister, Betty Ann Payne; wife, Pamela C. Wren; sons, Richard (Windy); grandsons, Dillon, Dietrick; and daughter-in-law, Cory; Robert Wren, (John) Randy (Karen) granddaughter, Caitie Wren; James Nolan; and brothers, Jacob, John, and Josh; daughter, Kristle Wren, her son, Jakob; Leanne Wren, her daughter, Evangeline (Evie); and many friends and family. He was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, son and brother. Known for his extraordinary and unique personality and great sense of humor. Retired from the U.S. Army in 1985 and from WBAMC Medical Supply in 2005. He rode with the El Paso Rider Motorcycle Club and owned Drifters Bar on Dyer. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 5 pm - 9 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina. Join us in a Celebration of Life Service to be held at 7 pm in place of Prayer Service.
