Obituary Condolences

Rosalva R. Hey, 78, of El Paso passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved widow of Air Force veteran and CPA, Carl Stromberg Hey, Jr., and a treasured mother and grandmother. Rosa was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, the only daughter of Andres and Ana Maria Lopez Robles. She loved cooking, gardening, sewing, music, dancing, time with family, and all animals, but especially her cats Bonita and Blackie. She will be dearly missed by her daughters Elena Hey-Waters (Charlie Waters), Anna Louise Hey, and Edith Elizabeth Camacho as well as by her adoring grandchildren: Brigette Marie Waters, Jeremy Alexander Hey, Joshua Oscar Camacho, Gabriel Andres Camacho, and Oscar Isaac Camacho. Rosa will be remembered for her amazing smile and ability to find a reason to laugh in even the most difficult times. The family would like to thank Hospice El Paso for compassionate end of life care; Dr. Zeina Nahleh and Rose Heydarian of the Texas Tech Breast Care Center, and Dr. Brian Davis, of UMC El Paso, for the careful care and attention, and El Paso Community Home Health for the considerate and comprehensive assistance and care. Visitation will be held at 11:00am with a Rosary 12:00pm on Thursday, February 27, 2014, with interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
