Raul Rojas Sr. "Rojitas" passed away April 24th, 2014, he was 79. Mr. Rojas was born February 20th, 1935, in Brickland, NM to Manuel and Candelaria Rojas. Raul was a family man with interest in hunting, fishing and golfing. Mr. Rojas served in the United States Marine Corps from 1954 to 1962, a Sergeant in Communications. He worked for WR Weaver Scopes and retired from Rexcel Coatings in 2000. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, his wife of sixteen years Elvira Rojas. He is survived by his son Raul Rojas Jr., daughter in law Cruz, his daughter Diana Dominguez, son in law Miguel Dominguez, his six siblings, Bertha Solis, Delia Rojas, Beatriz Lopez, Guillermo Rojas, Leopoldo Rojas and Roberto Rojas. Mr. Rojas had four grandchildren and fourteen nieces and nephews. A special thanks to his sisters Bertha and Beatriz, his nephew Freedie and niece Beatriz, great nephew Eric Solis for caring for him during his illness. Funeral Services will be conducted by Perches Funeral Home, 2280 Joe Battle with Rosary on Thursday May 1st at 7:00 p.m. Mass on Friday at 9:15 a.m. at St. Mark's Catholic Church. Burial in Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
