Obituary Condolences

Rodolfo D. Peña, 92, passed away, Monday, May 12, 2014. He was a resident of El Paso, Texas where he taught over 30 years with the El Paso Independent School District. He also served in the United States Air Corps during WWII and received an Honorable Discharge. Rodolfo enjoyed gardening, cooking and playing with his granddaughter. A rosary mass will be held at the Martin Funeral Home located on 3839 Montana Avenue on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 beginning at 7 p.m. Visitation will take place from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The memorial service will be held at St. Patrick's Cathedral on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Rodolfo is survived by his four daughters: Sylvia Peña, Diana Peña, Rebecca Peña and Yvonne Peña and one grandchild, Michelle Peña who are all from El Paso, Texas. He is also survived by his brothers: Luis Peña, Jr., Raul Peña, Miguel Peña, Edward Peña, and his sisters: Rosa Peña, Alma Dimm and her husband Stanley Dimm, and Teresa D. Peña as well as many nieces and nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalia C. Peña and his brother, Antonio Peña. Rodolfo was a loving and wonderful father, son, brother, husband, grandfather and friend to all. "Daddy, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure."
