WILLIAM ARCHAMBEAULT Obituary
William ("Bill") A. Archambeault, 69, passed away unexpectedly April 23. A loving son, loyal brother, nurturing father and devoted friend, he was born in Bristol, Conn., to the late Philip and Elizabeth (Gualtieri) Archambeault. Bill grew up in Bristol, graduating from St. Anthony's Catholic High School. He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Alaska. He spent most of his adult life in El Paso, with a career in quality control and purchasing at GTE, Siemens and Allen-Bradley. He earned a B.S. in management from Park University in El Paso in 1982. Bill did extensive volunteer work with Hospice El Paso, providing countless hours of comfort to patients and their families, and the Multiple Sclerosis Association of El Paso after his son, Bill, was diagnosed with MS. He was a life-long fan of the Boston Red Sox, and enjoyed movies, practical jokes and visiting family and friends. Bill's greatest passion was his son, Bill, and his family. He will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom, friendliness and gentle manner. Bill is survived by his son, William J. Archambeault, and his significant other, Marta Sanchez. Bill was the first-born in a family of 11 children: Elizabeth, (the late) Philip, Myra, Veronica, James, Frank, Mary, Joseph, Carol and Carl. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery on Friday, May 30, at11 a.m., with military honors. Services are being provided by San Jose Funeral Home at(915) 590-8700.
