SAMUEL DURAN Obituary
Samuel R. Duran, 29, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas. Samuel graduated from Bel Air High School, served as an alter boy at Cristo Rey Catholic Church and volunteered at the Amigo air show. He also loved to attend the UTEP Miner football games. A special thank you to the staff at Del Sol Medical Center for the special care shown to Sammy. He is preceded in death by his father, Cruz Duran and brother; Victor Duran. He is survived by his mother; Teresa G. Duran, brothers; Rudy Gonzalez and Robert Smith, step- brother, Antonio Duran and step-sister; Victoria Duran. Visitation and vigil were held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 am Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Please visit online register book at www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home.
