She loved the desert southwest because of its warm climate, starry nights and friendly community. In 1976 Frances joined the Social Order of the Beauceant, where she held many positions and remained a loyal member until the date of her death. Frances was employed with U.S. Gypsum Co., the City of El Paso and the El Paso County Sheriff's Office. Married to William Roy Adams in 1973, now deceased, Frances remained a loving partner until Bill's death in 1992. Thereafter, she stayed fulfilled for the remainder of her life by working with the Sheriff's Department until her retirement in 2006, and by remaining actively involved with Eastern Star. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Rue and Ruth Hahn, her brother Larry O. Hahn, and husband William Roy Adams. She is survived by her older brother, Norman Eugene Hahn (Jeanie), sister-in-law Val Hahn, stepchildren Gene Adams, Carol Ekman and Barbara Rothacher, and many nieces and nephews. A very special thank you to those who cared for Frances in the last weeks of her life; Cindi Aboud, Susie Shinaut, Val Hahn, Jerry Hahn, Lorraine DeWeerd, Linda LaRock and the nursing staff at Providence Hospital ICU.
