Obituary Condolences

Our beloved Tony passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso,Texas born on December 20, 1937. His beloved wife Isabel Ruybe preceded him in death along with his father Joseph Ruybe and two brothers Robert Ruybe and Raymond Ruybe. Tony Ruybe attended Jefferson High and during summer school met his lovely wife-to-be Isabel Segovia and began their 40-year marriage with 11 children 19 grandchildren and one great grandson. He retired from Farah Manufacturing after a remarkable career of 40 plus years and after serving in the United States Army during the Korea War Era. Tony is survived by his 11 children Anthony (Tina) Ruybe, Joseph (Carmen) Ruybe, Helen (Jim) Gunderson, Norma Elizabeth Ruybe, Diana (Frank) Sullivant, Laura Lee (Trevor) Procop, David (Maria) Ruybe, Charles Alexander Ruybe, Susan Alice (Oak) Funston, Steven Cloud Ruybe, and Debra Marie Ruybe Bragg, Tony and Isabel Ruybe. 94-year-old mother Agustina Ruybe , 19 grandchildren Samuel Anthony Ruybe, Adrian Matthew Ruybe, Derrick Jackson, Jordan Jackson, Brandon Sean Michael Ruybe, James Daniel Gunderson III, Malen Christopher Gunderson, Samantha Ashley Sullivant, James Henry Sullivant III, Sydney Alicia Michelle Sullivant, Aidan Smith Procop, Liam Smith Procop, Matthew Ruybe, Melanie Ruybe, Anna Marie Ruybe, Elias Ulysses Funston, Alexis Nichole Bragg, Erin Cheyenne Bragg, Kaitlyn Rose Bragg and great-grandson Max Patrick Mclelland, 6 sisters Rita McGill, Bertha Ursol, Cecilia Ruybe, Rosie Bustamante, Eva Ruybe, and Margaret Ruybe. Other survivors include an abundance of friends, former coworkers, neighbors and his little buddy, Myuks the cat. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at San Jose Funeral Home East from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm with Rosary at 11:00 am. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Our Lady of the Light, Dolan Chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, East Shelter at 2:30 pm. with Military Honors. Tony Ruybe leaves countless of special memories and will be missed every day by all. Your loving Family.
