SANTIAGO G. GOMEZ, passed away on to our Lord on December 31, 2012. He was a long time carpenter in El Paso since 1949. In loving Memory of our beloved father Santiago. You are home with mom teaching someone how to build a house. We already miss the smell of his cigar. He loved that cigar so much; it will always remind us of him. He was 85 years old. Preceded in death by wife, Natalia Ch. Gomez; daughter, Natalia; 2 brothers, Pedro and Amado Gomez. He is survived by his family, Maria Elena Kling, Francisco Urbano Gomez, Liz Muro, Santiago Jr., Arturo, and Luis Carlos Gomez; 7 grandsons; 5 granddaughters; 14 great grandchildren. He was born in San Pedro, California; raised in Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, and long time resident of Ysleta and Socorro. He was a wonderful, loving, giving person. He will be missed. We Love you Dad. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hillcrest Chapel with at Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, January 7, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at Sts.
