Paul H. Grady, 88, passed away at his home in El Paso on Thursday, Jan. 31 2013 after a long illness. Paul served in the Navy during
World War II
1942-1946 and then returned to service during the
1950-1952. A long time resident of El Paso, Paul worked for Raytheon and retired 1986. He traveled the world extensively with Raytheon to include, Iran, Germany and Japan. A member of the American Legion and
over the years, Paul settled into retirement and was a member of the Eastside Senior Center, where he loved to play Bridge and Pinochle. Mr. Grady, son of William G. and Frances Reynolds (nee) Grady, born Nov. 18, 1924 in Hart Co, Ky. He married his wife, the former Barbara Fay McCubbins of Hart Co, KY while on leave in 1945. This past November, they celebrated their sixty seventh wedding anniversary with family and friends. Paul was preceeded in death by his parents and 3 brothers and a sister. He is survived by wife Barbara of El Paso, 2 children, his son Robert P. Grady of Tucson, AZ, daughter Paula Stoner and husband David of Tucson AZ, grandson Robert T. Crosland and wife Cindy, of Tucson, AZ, two great grandsons, John and Shane Crosland of Tucson, AZ, and brother David R. Grady of Ft Pierce, FL. Paul and Barbara would like to include as extended family, Beatriz (Teshie) Cisneros and husband Luis of El Paso, their children, Luis Cisneros and wife Christine of Corona CA and Audrey Cisneros and grandson Daniel Cisneros of El Paso. Visitation and services will be held Thursday, February 7 2013, 5-9 pm at Martin Funeral Home Central with a graveside service at Ft Bliss, 10 am, Friday, Feb. 8 2013. The family will receive friends at the Grady home. Services entrusted to Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave., El Paso, Texas 79903.
