IN MEMORIAM Juan Carrizal, Jr. August 17, 1936 - January 26, 2013 Juan "Sonny" was born in El Paso, Texas. He was the oldest child of Juan A. Carrizal and Elvira Loya and a proud graduate of Cathedral High School (Class of 1956) where he played football. He served honorably and as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. from 1957-1963. Juan is survived by his wife of over 35 years, Alicia Carrizal, and their children Jimmy Carrizal, Joe John Carrizal, Elvira Carrizal-Dukes, Cristina Gurrola, Yolanda Gonzalez, April Avitia, Belinda Castañon, Teresa Lopez, Sandra Manriquez, George Castillo, and Johnny Carrizal III, along with sons and daughters-in-law Dora, Toni, Ronnie, Adam, Ismael, Joe, Harvey, and Hugo. Juan leaves a legacy to over 20 grandchildren.He is also survived by his brothers Bobby and TuryCarrizal and sister Nena Lester and their families, as well as nieces and nephews, and many, many cousins, neighbors and friends whom he shared great memories. Sonny loved the Marines, golf, camping and fishing, and his two dachshunds Brownie and Chiquita. Juan, a.k.a. Juanito, Johnny, "Sonny", "Apa", and Dad will forever be loved and missed.
