ESTELA RAMOS Obituary
Estela V. Ramos born March 27, 1943, she was called by the Lord and passed away peacefully on April 2, 2013. She was a two time cancer survivor and a strong fighter with the will to live. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, a devoted catholic and a strong supporter of Reach for a Star Organization of El Paso. She was a graduate of El Paso Technical High School. She also worked in the pediatric section at Thomason General Hospital. And she developed a special love and affection for children. She also worked at Southwestern Bell Phone Co., as well at the county voting precinct. Estela was preceeded in death by her father Epifanio Villanueva, mother Consuelo V. Dominguez, and brother Henry "Moose" Villanueva. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Rudy J. Ramos, sons John H. Ramos (Blanca), Steve Ramos (Alicia A.), grandchildren Jesse, Tesla, Pamela, Evelyn, Mariana, Steve "Jr.", great grandson Mack James. She will be greatly missed and will be in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held 3pm to 9pm Sunday, April 7, 2013 at FDA Martin Central with a 6pm vigil. Funeral Mass will be held 8:45am, Monday, April 8, 2013 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center 1515 Holcombe Blvd. Houston, TX 77030.
