MILES BRANCH Obituary
Miles Bernard Branch passed away peacefully on April 9, 2013 at his home. He was born on April 25, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to Miles Bernard IV and Bernice Branch. He graduated form Logansport High School in Logansport, Indiana and attended Purdue University. Miles lived in many cities across the U.S. but had a special love for the southwest. His favorite pleasures in life were boating in Elephant Butte and barbecuing for his friends in the backyard. Miles was a Christian and believed that people were put on this earth to help one another. He often said that if he survived cancer, he wanted to work with others battling the disease. It is with this faith that we know he will be welcomed into the kingdom of heaven. His parents and wife of many years, Heather, preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife Janet Pascoe Branch, his sister Suzanne and Bill Ligon, his children, James and Holly Gliddon and their three children, Miles and Crystal Branch and their three children, Joey Branch and Dollar, nieces and nephews, and many, many friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Jesus Gomez and his staff as well as the staff of Envision Hospice for their care and compassion. Special thanks go to Peggy Dunn, Stacy Dunn Sherrill, Lee Weeks, Joe Bean, Gary Scroggins and Jared Stoddard for what Miles called "The Greatest Support Group Anyone Could Have!" Thank you Rosanne Orona for being with us every step of the way. The Star on the mountain will be lit at night in his honor. A memorial service and celebration of his life will take place at St. Mark's Methodist Church on April 20 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Envision Hospice at 915-778-0028, 8929 Viscount, El Paso, TX 79925.
