ARACELI VALLEJO

Araceli Vallejo was born April 3, 1937 and died March 20, 2014. She died of kidney failure due to diabetes. She was the mother of ten, grandmother of thirty three, and great grandmother of eleven. It's hard to explain what kind of mother she was. If pictures are worth a thousand words, then here is your picture. Picture our mother with her hands in a fist. She took things that came her way. No matter what she went through she always gave thanks to God. She was always humble. She believed; she just believed. She had a faith that was stronger than anything else, stronger than fear. If pictures are worth a thousand words, then here is your picture. Our mother died in her bed at home. When the news came that she had died, the house quickly filled with children. After the mortician came to take her away I found it so strange to see the children climb into her bed, wrapping themselves in her blankets. When I asked what was going on, I was told the children just wanted to feel close to grandma. She loved and she was loved. If pictures are worth a thousand words. Visitation will be held from 8:00am to 9:15am with a Funeral Service to begin at 9:15am on Monday, March 31, 2014 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints- Hondo Pass.
