Homan, Dr. William K. passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014. He was born on December 20, 1934 in El Paso, TX. to Willis V. and Billie D. Homan. Dr. Homan was a proud veteran of the
U.S. Air Force
and a member of America's first nuclear warhead-guided missile squadron to deploy oversees to Germany during the
. After his military service, Dr. Homan graduated from
Arizona State University
, Baylor University College of Dentistry and The University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. Additionally, he was a Diplomate of The American Board of Maxillofacial Surgery, Fellow-American College of Maxillofacial Surgeons and International Academy of Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Homan is preceded in death by his wife, Janet M. Homan and daughter Beverly A. Homan. Survivors include sister Peggy Homan Hancock. Children: William D. Homan and wife Elizabeth, Janet T. Musgrave and husband Mark, Douglas M. Homan and wife Jennifer. Grandchildren include: Samantha and Megan Homan, Eric, Hayley, and Savannah Whitaker, Max and Matthew Michaels, Sarah Stredic and husband Alex, Katie Villarreal and husband Michael, Jacob Musgrave, many nieces and nephews and three great grandchildren. Graveside services are pending at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with military honors. Special thanks to the loving and caring staff at Ambrosio Guillen Texas Veteran's Home and Gentiva Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The El Paso Humane Society at 4991 Fred Wilson, El Paso, Texas 79906,
