1937 - 2015

Ramon Francisco Caldera 77, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, went to walk with The Lord on May 17, 2015. He was born December 17, 1937, to Francisco and Magdalena Caldera. A lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas, and retiree from ASARCO, married Ida Sanchez on February 17, 1959. He was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, their 3 children: Lydia Dominguez (Roberto), Richard Caldera (Patricia), and Bernadette Alvarado (Daniel); 8 grandchildren: Jessica, Daniel, Nicole, Andrea, Alex, Richelle, Dominique, and Celine; 4 great grandchildren: Isabella, Enrique, Samuel, and Valentina; and siblings: Roberto Caldera, Magdalena Rodriguez, Dolores Caldera, and Josie Russ. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil at 7:00pm at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 N Zaragoza. Funeral service will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 at 10:00am at La Verdad Community Church, 7721 N Loop. The burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza.
