The talented actress Lynn Redgrave would have turned 70 years old today. We look back at her career. Written by Linnea Crowther. Originally published May 2012.

Lynn Redgrave was a beloved member of one of our favorite acting families. The sister of actors Vanessa Redgrave and Corin Redgrave, sister in law of director Tony Richardson, and aunt of actors Natasha Richardson and Joely Richardson, Lynn Redgrave had a powerful talent herself. She was a star both on Broadway and on the big and small screens.

Redgrave died on May 2, 2010, after a long struggle with breast cancer. We're celebrating her life by watching her work.

One of Redgrave's first movies was Georgy Girl – she won a Golden Globe for her starring role.

We always love seeing our favorite stars let down their hair a bit and have fun on a game show. Here's Lynn Redgrave holding her own on The $100,000 Pyramid.

1998 brought Redgrave another Golden Globe-winning role, that of housemaid Hanna in Gods and Monsters.
