Arnett Russell Hall, 78, Union, passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at his home.
Mr. Hall was born Oct. 4, 1934, in Union, the son of Arnett Hall and wife Mary, nee Ham.
He served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard for nine years.
On April 30, 2004, Mr. Hall was united in marriage to Patricia in Union.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator at Havin Concrete and Franklin County Reddi-Mix. Mr. Hall loved John Deere tractors and his dogs, Benji and Zoey.
He was a devoted husband and loyal family man who never met a stranger. Mr. Hall took the extra effort to lend a helping hand. He was always a hard worker with high morals.
Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents, Arnett and Mary Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Hall, Union; two daughters, Dana Messex and husband Ben, Union, and Christina (Chris) Zakes, Rolla; four grandchildren, Chiara Ogle, Jesse Skaggs, Julie Skaggs and Sidnee Skaggs; Ben Messex's entire family; adopted grandchildren, Amber Stroup, Nickie Gorsuch, Morgan and Derek Benton, Brooklinn Thielmann, Kasen Conway, Peyton Debrecht, Eric, Maddi and Korey Kennedy and Peyton and Piper Dunn; special friends, Johnnie and Robin Benton, Vickie Gorsuch, the Cordell family and Stephanie Davis, Evercare Hospice; many other friends and family.
Visitation was held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Midlawn Funeral Home, Union.
Funeral services followed at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Revs. Jeff Scott and Duke West officiating.
Interment was in Midlawn Memorial Gardens, Union.
Memorials to Evercare Hospice are preferred.
