Barbara J.H. Peters(1933 - 2013)

Barbara Jeanne Hamaker Peters, 79, St. Charles, was called home by the Lord Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 -- It shall be a joyous meeting.

She was born May 15, 1933, in Pottsville, Ark., the dear daughter of Clifford and Hazel (Falls) Hamaker.

Barbara leaves her husband of 58 years, Dr. George Peters; three children, Sally (John) Drennan Jr., St. Charles, Nancy (Jeff) Thater, Washington, Bruce Peters, Hazelwood; three grandchildren, Jared and Alicia Thater, Washington, and Shianne Peters, Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Mrs. Jane (Richard) Kitt, St. Charles, and Mrs. Linda (Otho) Reasoner Jr., Pottsville, Ark.; and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Donna (late Leroy) Rohrer, McHenry, Ill., and Mrs. Marlene Cross, Corona, Calif. Other relatives include Mrs. Patsy Barrett, Clarksville, Ark.; the Rev. Nale Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Bunn (Maxine) Falls, all of Little Rock, Ark.; and Mrs. Betty Riddle, Moreno Valley, Calif.

A visitation was set for Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson St., St. Charles. A second visitation and funeral service were held in Pottsville, Ark. Interment took place at Pisgah Cemetery, Pottsville, Ark.

The family was served by Baue Funeral Home, St. Charles.
