Charles K. Grissom, 82, Pacific, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in Pacific.
Charles, the son of the late William Grissom and wife Letha, nee Winget, was born July 31, 1930, in Stendal, Ind.
He received his education from Stendal High School. On June 14, 1952, Charles was united in marriage to LaDonna Mason in Booneville, Ind.
He was a 50-year member of the Masons and a member of the UAW for 38 years. Charles was employed by Chrysler as an electrician.
He was preceded in death by his wife, LaDonna Grissom; and parents.
Charles is survived by one son, Ken Grissom and wife Peggy, Fenton; one daughter, Cindy Kelemen and husband Frank, Catawissa; one sister, Thelma Potter, Princeton, Ind.; four grandchildren, Keith Grissom and wife Erica, Kristy Segelhorst and husband Derek, Luke Coffey and wife Emily, and Ashley Deckelman and husband Bill; three great-grandchildren, Grant Grissom, Blaine Segelhorst and Brooklyn Deckelman; brothers- and sisters-in-law; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 4, at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home with Becky Reed officiating.
Interment was in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Catawissa.
