Henry A. Schulze, 86, Warrenton, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Schulze was born Jan. 9, 1927, in Warrenton, the son of Henry F. Schulze and wife Daisy M., nee Kulp.
He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II
, from 1945 to 1946, as a medic.
Mr. Schulze was united in marriage to Betty J. Rice March 11, 1950.
He was employed as a welder.
Mr. Schulze is survived by his wife, Betty J. Schulze, nee Rice, Warrenton; two sons, Larry Gene (Jeri) Schulze, Jonesburg, and John W. (Pam) Schulze, Foley; three daughters, Katherine A. (Ralph) Dollard, Lawrence, Kan., Carol Lynn (Sam) Rittenberry, Old Monroe, and Sandra Jean Schulze, Warrenton; one sister, Alice Polston, Warrenton; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Paul Schulze, George Schulze and Daniel Schulze; and five sisters, Dorothy Loyce Schulze, Doris Hillman, Frieda Wilfong, Marie Wolff and Eleanor Meyer.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 8, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 904 S. Highway 47, Warrenton, MO 63383.
A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, March 9, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Shriners or SSM Hospice, in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.
