Janet Ann Roller, nee Man- ess, 74, Sullivan, passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, in Sullivan.
Janet, daughter of the late Herbert Maness and wife Mary Elizabeth, nee Gay, was born April 4, 1939, in St. Clair. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Richard Roller July 26, 1958, and three children came to bless this union.
Janet was a longtime member of Parkway Church of the Nazarene, St. Clair, and a past member of the church board of directors and the church missionary committee. During her working career, Janet was employed by International Shoe Company, St. Clair, and later as a laborer at Von Weise Gear Company, St. Clair.
Janet had a variety of interests throughout her life, including drawing and doing crafts. She also loved to sing, especially at church. What meant most to Janet was caring for her home and family. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will forever be cherished by all of them.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Rich-ard Roller Sr.; parents, Herbert and Mary Elizabeth Maness; one son, Kenneth Roller Jr.; and one brother, Herbert D. Maness.
She is survived by two children, Matthew A. Roller and wife Leona, and Beth Ann Roller, all of Sullivan; four grandchildren, Melody Bailey and husband Charles, Union, Amber Roller, Villa Ridge, Stephanie Brown and husband Shane, Lonedell, and Natalie Schroeder, Sullivan; one daughter-in-law, Gail Roller, Bourbon; four sisters, Betty Hampton, Clearwater, Fla., June Gant and husband James, Troy, Sandra Rowden, Stanton, and Pamela Watkins and husband Sonny, Rolla; nine great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at Parkway Church of the Naz-arene, St. Clair, with the Rev. Harold Lumley Jr. officiating.
Interment was in Prospect Cemetery, Lonedell.
Memorials may be given to Parkway Church of the Nazarene.
