Jerri L. Hallemann(1946 - 2013)

Jerri L. Hallemann, nee Obermeier, 66, New Haven, passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at New Haven Care Center, New Haven.

Mrs. Hallemann, the daughter of the late Carl Obermeier and wife Thelma, nee Davis, was born Aug. 20, 1946, in Breese, Ill. She was united in marriage to Raymond F. Hallemann June 4, 1995, at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Haven.

Jerri was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Thelma Obermeier; her first husband, Frederick Begemann; and one son, Michael Begemann.

Jerri is survived by her husband, Raymond F. Hallemann, New Haven; two daughters, Susan Kassebaum and husband Mark, Washington, and Jean Oetterer and husband Mike, New Haven; one stepson, David Hallemann, Pacific; one stepdaughter Vicki Mercer and husband James, St. Louis; four grandchildren, Taylor and Lexi Oetterer, and Ryan and Adam Kassebaum; one brother, Roger Obermeier; one sister, Karla Lippert; seven sisters-in-law, Diana Obermeier, Barbara Burgess, Rose Rita Hallemann, Mary Lou McDonald, Margaret James, Virginia Holzem and Carol Klingsick; and three brothers-in-law, Anthony Hallemann, Frederick Hallemann and Leo Hallemann.

Jerri was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Haven, and the American Legion Auxiliary, New Haven. She loved gardening, flowers, spending time with her grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held at Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, Sunday, Feb. 17, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, with the Rev. David Poe officiating, at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Haven.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. Peter's United Church of Christ or the New Haven Food Pantry, in care of Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.

The Hallemann family was served by Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.
