Richard J. Finder, 90, Pacific, passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, in Pacific.
Richard, son of the late Bernard Finder and wife Anna Mary, nee Skornia, was born March 26, 1922, in Villa Ridge. He received his education from St. Francis Borgia High School, Washington. He was united in marriage to Jeanette Graser July 31, 1946, at Immaculate Conception Church, Union.
Richard served his country honorably as a member of the Army Air Corps and was a bombardier in World War II
He was a member of St. Bridget's Church, Pacific. Richard was employed by Boeing as a foreman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Anna Mary Finder.
Richard is survived by his wife, Jeanette Finder, Pacific; two sons, Robert Finder and wife Sheryl, Adelaide, Australia, and Kevin Finder and wife Joan, Affton; three daughters, Mary Beth Fagan and husband Michael, Huntington Beach, Calif., Babs Maune and husband Harold, Washington, and Kathy Schuckmann and husband Bob, Pacific; 10 grandchildren, Stephanie, Kathryn, Bridget, Elizabeth, Betsy, Brian, Hannah, Julia, Adam and Sarah; two sisters-in-law, Irene Graser, and Dorothy Boehmer and husband James; nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial was held Friday, Feb. 15, at St. Bridget's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Schmittgens officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Bridget's Church or the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
