Virginia A. Bierbaum(1937 - 2012)

Virginia Alma Bierbaum, 75, Augusta, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012.

She was born April 30, 1937, in Marthasville, the daughter of Harold Engelage and wife Ruby, nee Koch.

Mrs. Bierbaum was a homemaker and member of Femme Osage UCC and Femme Osage Women's Fellowship. She also taught Sunday school for many years.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Bierbaum and wife Carolyn, Augusta; daughter, Brenda Nadler and husband Gregg, Augusta; grandson, Daniel Bierbaum and wife Katherine; four granddaughters, Kayla Bierbaum, Lea Bierbaum, Amanda Nadler and Katie Nadler; brother, Marvin Engelage and wife Ellen, Marthasville; brother-in-law, Raymond Bierbaum, Augusta; other relatives and many friends.

Mrs. Bierbaum was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Bierbaum; parents; and sister-in-law, Rosemary Bierbaum.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Jan. 2, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, Augusta.

A funeral service was held Thursday, Jan. 3, at 1 p.m. at Femme Osage UCC.

Interment was in the church cemetery.

Memorials to the Femme Osage UCC Building Fund or Mercy Hospice are preferred.

The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Augusta.
