Anne Jennifer Bacon Baumer, 66, Tallahassee, Fla., passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013, leaving this world for a better place.|
Anne was born in St. Louis in 1946, and spent much of her life in the St. Louis area. She graduated from Ursuline Academy, St. Louis, in 1964. She later earned a Bachelor of Science in business management from Maryville University, St. Louis. After many successful years in the accounting and sales industries, Anne moved to Tallahassee in 2011 to be closer to family and beautiful beaches. She will be sorely missed and always remembered as an adventurous, independent woman who had a passion for travel, animals, reading and her family.
Anne was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Bacon.
She is survived by two sons, Phillip Baumer, Wichita, Kan., and Eric Baumer, Tallahassee, Fla.; two brothers, Michael Bacon, Union, and Gene Bacon, St. Louis; one sister, Barbara Kraher, Sullivan; five grandchildren, Isabel and Madeline, Wichita, Kan., and Camilla, Liam, and Daisy, Tallahassee, Fla.
A celebration of Anne's life will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at the home of Michael Bacon, 2113 East Old Highway 50, Union, Mo.
