Betty Lou Tunnell Obituary
Betty Lou Tunnell, nee Gayer, 87, Warrenton, entered eternal rest Sunday, May 13, 2018, at her home.

Betty was born April 19, 1931, and raised on a farm in Miller. She resided in Lawrence County most of her life. Betty and her husband moved to Warrenton in 2006 to be near their daughter.

Betty was married for 55 years to James Blaine Tunnell, who passed away in 2006. They made their living on a farm north of Mount Vernon, Mo., for over 30 years. Together they raised two children, Lyndall James (Kathy Larson), Athens, Ga., and Connie Lou (Roy Gray), Warrenton. They greatly enjoyed their two grandchildren, 2nd Lt. James Blaine Tunnell and Arienna Jasmine Gray.

Betty was involved in Red Hats and a member of College United Methodist Church, Warrenton, where a Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, May 21, at 10:30 a.m.
