Catherine Cameron Obituary
Catherine "Kitty" Cameron, nee Koelln, 90, formerly of Warrenton, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at home with her family in Moscow, Idaho.

Catherine was born March 23, 1928, in Pendleton, to Steffan Koelln and wife Ivy Rae, nee Lynch. She was married to Jack L. Cameron Dec. 18, 1948, in Warrenton. They celebrated 57 wonderful years of marriage before Jack's passing in 2005. To this union were born two children, Steven and Karen.

Catherine was a seamstress and also worked at B&W Market and Tony's Meat Market. During her retirement, she volunteered her time at the Warren County Senior Center for several years. Catherine helped out with church camp and ran her grand- and great-grandchildren to sporting events. She enjoyed quilting, crochet, cross stitching, traveling to new places and visiting with grandchildren in different states. Catherine enjoyed watching her great-grandsons wrestle and play football. She loved being a part of the wrestling and football families. Catherine loved life and was always up for the next adventure. If you didn't find her out and about with a grandchild or two in tow, you could catch Catherine at bingo or on the occasional casino trip. She shared her love with everyone she met and you knew it, because you felt it instantly.

Catherine is survived by her daughter, Karen Collier and husband Dennis; six grandchildren, Amanda Nickerson and husband Brian, Jeremy Carr and wife Paula, Kimberly Melo and husband Daniel, April Payne and husband Steve, Becky Allen and Robby Carr; 14 great-grandchildren, Jesse, Hayley, Aaron, Mathew, Cameron, Cataleya, Austin, Damon, Autumn, Tyler, Micah, Haylie, Aubrie and Marilyn; one great-great-grandson, Shawn; several other beloved family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack; parents, Steffan and Ivy; son, Steve; and one granddaughter, Tiffany.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.

Funeral services will be Friday, beginning at noon, also at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Warrenton City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Catherine's honor to the Ronald McDonald House or Warrenton Wrestling Club, in care of Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.
